Welcome to
Cherry Blossom Nursery is a registered charity and non-profit organisation, which has been operating in East Bergholt for over 30 years.
Although now housed in the Children’s Centre, the nursery continues to be administered by a committee made up of mainly parents and is financially independent of the Children’s Centre.
The nursery offers excellent pre-school education and learning for children aged 2 to rising 5 year olds. It is currently open between 9.00am to 3.45pm (term time) and is registered for 26 children per session.
The nursery employs five experienced and qualified staff together with three volunteers.
Our services include morning and afternoon sessions, a lunch club and a ‘pick up and drop off’ service to East Bergholt Primary School.
At Cherry Blossom Nursery we know that starting nursery is a big step and we hope the staff and committee will continue to make it a happy and successful step forward for both the children and their families. We pride ourselves on a warm, safe, friendly environment where our friendly and qualified staff are keen to settle each child in and to get to know them as an individual. We are able to offer good individual care and attention though having a high ratio of adults to children.
We hope your child will have a happy time at our nursery, building up their confidence and character though play, fun whilst building friendships with children and adults whilst developing numerous other skills along the way. We offer a DfEE approved curriculum leading to approved learning outcomes.
Cherry Blossom Nursery at East Bergholt offers pre-school children a warm, safe and friendly environment to build up their confidence and character through play and having fun, whilst developing friendships with both children and adults.
